Profile

Nick Reese is the Deputy Director for Emerging Technology Policy in the Office of Cyber, Infrastructure, Risk, and Resilience Policy at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). He focuses on critical policy issues related to artificial intelligence, quantum information science, smart cities, space, and cybersecurity.

Prior to joining DHS he spent six years in the U.S. Intelligence Community focusing on counternarcotics and cyber operations holding various operational and management positions. He also spent nine years serving in the military with combat tours in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Joint Task Force Lebanon.
