Ms. Cheley A. Gabriel is a graduate of the Naval Postgraduate School with a Master of Arts degree in International Security and Civil-Military Relations. Her Master’s thesis was published in 2001 which specializes in unconventional and urban warfare. Ms. Gabriel is a US Army Reserve Military Police Colonel with 30 years of combined regular Army, National Guard, and Army Reserve service. As an MP officer, Ms. Gabriel mobilized to support law and order operations in Panama, to Europe to compete as an athlete on the Military Pentathlon Team, to Germany as a US delegate to discuss the future of NATO, and in support of Operation Noble Eagle. Ms. Gabriel received the famed McArthur Leadership Award in 2000. Ms. Gabriel, as a biometrics subject matter expert, currently works for Griaule Corporation, now a US-subsidiary. She is a Federal Bureau of Investigations Certified Fingerprint Examiner and organized, designed and executed the building of the DoD's ABIS where she worked for more than 15 years, leaving her post as a GS-15 to seek more rewarding employment for Griaule. She is pursuing her PhD in Organizational Leadership and Management, currently possessing an ABD.
