Description

As state and local governments wrestle with opening up more and more services digitally and supporting a growing technically savvy population, new challenges emerge such as protecting the citizens PII and privacy, reducing fraud, and complying with the ever changing legal and regulatory requirements.  This session will discuss what and how the states and local jurisdictions are planning for new technologies, including the growth of mobile driver's licenses, how the international community is addressing these challenges and the lessons learned, and ideas around how the federal government will need to prepare and leverage these new technologies.
