Tiami’s PolyEdge™ solution enables passive drone detection and airspace awareness by using existing 4G/5G signals already present in the environment. Unlike traditional radar or camera-based systems, PolyEdge does not need to transmit energy or rely on line-of-sight imagery to detect activity. This supports low-SWaP, low-signature deployments for base defense, installation security, tactical sites, and other environments where operators need awareness without adding unnecessary emissions or visual sensors.
For Army, DoD, and mission partner use cases, Tiami is focused on helping users detect, localize, and respond to potential threats in complex RF environments. PolyEdge is designed to support passive UAS detection, airspace monitoring, RF-aware situational awareness, and integration into operational workflows such as TAK and other command-and-control environments.
Tiami also develops deployable communications and sensing capabilities through PolyBase, which can provide localized 5G connectivity while supporting edge sensing applications. Together, Tiami’s technologies are designed to help mission users extend awareness and connectivity into contested, austere, or infrastructure-limited environments.
