ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Tim Sellers has joined AvL Technologies as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). In this role, he will lead the company's global business development, sales, strategic partnerships, and market expansion efforts.
Mr. Sellers is a retired U.S. Army Colonel with extensive experience in military communications, information systems, and command-and-control operations. Throughout his military career, he served in leadership positions supporting tactical communications capabilities across Army, joint, and coalition missions in Korea, Germany, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kuwait, and Afghanistan.
His background is closely aligned with AvL Technologies' mission as a leading provider of mobile satellite antenna and positioner systems for military communications and other mission-critical applications. He brings extensive expertise in tactical SATCOM, communications modernization, and operational network support across Army formations from platoon through corps level.
As Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Sellers will oversee AvL Technologies' commercial strategy, business development initiatives, sales growth, and strategic partnerships. His operational experience, defense market knowledge, and leadership expertise will help strengthen customer engagement and support the company's continued growth in government, defense, and commercial markets.
