Profile

Command Sergeant Major Justin C. Malone enlisted in the Army in September 2005. After graduating Infantry OSUT at Fort Benning, GA, CSM Malone completed the Ranger Assessment and Selection Program and was assigned to 1st Ranger Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, Savannah, GA. CSM Malone went on to serve in the 75 Ranger Regiment as an Infantryman, serving in every leadership position from a Gun Team Leader through Platoon Sergeant until his reclassification to Intelligence in 2017. Upon reclassification, CSM Malone was selected to serve in the Regimental Military Intelligence Battalion as the Targets Platoon Sergent. In 2018, CSM Malone was selected to serve as the Cyber and Electromagnetics Company's First Sergeant. In 2020, CSM Malone would PCS to Fort Liberty, NC, where he would serve as the Administrative Assistant to the Joint Special Operational Command (JSOC) Senior Enlisted Advisor. In 2021, he was assigned to the Joint Intelligence Brigade within JSOC, serving as the Operations Sergeant Major. Upon completion of his JSOC assignment, CSM Malone was assessed and selected to return to the 75th Ranger Regiment to serve as the Regimental Senior Intelligence Sergeant Major in the summer of 2023 until he was chosen as the Regimental Military Intelligence Battalion Command Sergeant Major in December of 2024. He has operationally deployed to support ENDURING FREEDOM, FREEDOM SENTINEL, and IRAQI FREEDOM.
