Profile
John Engel is an experienced business educator and practitioner with over a decade of university-level teaching and 12 years of executive leadership in industry. Currently serving as Director of Career Readiness and Senior Instructor of Business at the University of South Carolina Aiken, he bridges the gap between academic theory and real-world application. His research focuses on the intersection of digital transformation and organizational behavior, with particular interest in how technologies like AI and cloud computing impact firm resilience and performance during crisis periods. A doctoral candidate in management science, John is passionate about preparing students for the evolving demands of the workplace and contributing insights that support adaptive, tech-driven leadership strategies.
