Bill Robinson is an independent consultant teaming with McFalls and Associates providing competitive and sole-source acquisition strategies to large and small businesses to distinguish federal government acquisition policies, Small Business goals, and procurement strategies as well as the ability to capture new contracting opportunities. Bill maintains a special interest and deep understanding of the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program specifically in Phase III sole source contracting utilizing a company’s intellectual property gained through SBIR awards. Residing in San Antonio TX, Bill fosters new and existing strategic relationships across the Department of Defense, Federal Civilian Agencies, and the Intelligence Community.
After serving 21 years in the United States Air Force, Bill retired from the Air Intelligence Agency as a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer specializing as a Cybersecurity Assessment professional and has been sought out by both large and small companies enhancing their business interests within the government Cyber, Intelligence and Information Technology communities. Bill has served in a variety of roles recently as the Vice President of Business Development and previously as an Operations Vice President of a newly formed Cyber and Intelligence Division for a small business creating and growing their Cyber offerings that now includes work at all classification levels.
As an avid volunteer, Bill joined the Alamo Chapter of AFCEA and served on the Board of Directors supporting the chapter as a Vice President in a variety of toles since 2009. Under Bills leadership, the chapter created a Wounded Warrior and Military Families Endowment Fund supporting local non-profits with financial support to local Veterans, Military Families and Wounded Warrior programs. Bill is also the current Regional Vice President for the Texas Region, a former member of AFCEA International Board of Directors, and served as the Co-Chair of International Membership Committee. Bill just completed a tour as the Vice Chair of the San Antonio/Bexar County Local Authority Intellectual and Developmental Disability Advisory Council.
Bill’s academic credentials include Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Wayland Baptist University; Associates of Applied Science in Information Systems and Associates of Applied Science in Instructor of Technology, Community College of the Air Force, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and graduate of the San Antonio and Bexar County Master’s Leadership Program - Class VIII.
