Most recently, Mike served as the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) for NTT DATA Federal. In this role, he was responsible for developing and executing a 3–5-year strategic plan focused on expanding the company’s Federal Secure business. He identified high-value strategic accounts by leveraging existing client relationships, past performance, and solution expertise to target future growth. His 2025 go-to-market strategy was anchored by a $1.6 billion pipeline of fully qualified opportunities, ensuring alignment with corporate revenue and profitability goals.
He played a pivotal role in integrating marketing and capture strategies to enhance brand positioning and client messaging, while also improving opportunity pursuit discipline through strengthened governance processes. Two key elements of the strategic plan were (1) preserving the base, that achieved a 77% recompete win rate 2) expanding current capabilities focused on cybersecurity, data, and AI to meet evolving customer demands.
From 2009 to 2022, Mike served as the Client Executive for NTT DATA’s DoD portfolio, managing go-to-market strategies and overseeing the P&L for major defense projects. His leadership supported mission-critical initiatives with the Army, Air Force, Navy, and Special Operations Command. Notably, Mike’s software development team developed a trusted relationship with the Air Force customer that resulted in the successful migration of the Air Force’s Integrated Logistics System-Supply (ILS-S) application from a legacy mainframe to a modern, cloud-native environment on Cloud One.
Mike holds a Master of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College, a Masters in International Affairs from Troy State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
His many awards and decorations reflect his lifelong commitment to excellence, service, and leadership, including the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal with Oak Leaf Clusters, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, and the Purple Heart. He is also a Master Parachutist and holds the Ranger Tab, Special Forces Tab, Expert Infantryman Badge, Combat Infantryman Badge, and Pathfinder Badge.
