Lynn Fisher is a multi-decade business owner with extensive management experience, including experience in the technical training industry, financial services industry, and consumer products industry. Her early career years began with General Mills, Inc. where she was the assistant to the Treasurer, & the Boston Beer Co., where she quickly rose to be one of the top District Managers in the country.
Her technical and professional management training experience originated as a Regional Manager for the Technical Training Division of CompUSA. She successfully grew the region to #2 in the country in both sales and profitability within one year, second only to the TX region where there were a larger number of technical training centers. Overseeing all sales & operations for 8 technical training centers with a cumulative P&L of $50 million. She was selected as 1 of 10 managers nationwide to complete the CompUSA Executive Development Program. She was asked to move to the corporate headquarters to oversee national technical training sales and operations. Instead, she was recruited to become the VP of Marketing for The Beacon Institute for Learning, an organization that delivered technical training programs via various university partnerships. From there, she was recruited to manage the SE region for InterContinental Hotel Group before departing on maternity leave.
After coming home to raise and home educate her daughters in their early years, she helped her husband John, establish and grow his precious metal firm to become one of the top ten firms in the United States. Through her marketing and client education efforts, the firm quickly became a trusted advisor in an industry rife with unethical practices. Their firm is now a boutique High Net Worth (HNW) advisor for a global client base.
Lynn established Applied Technology Academy (ATA) as a successor corporation with over a decade of providing technical training for the US military, DoD contractors and corporations. ATA achieved Florida Department of Education postsecondary licensure in 2020 and furthered the company’s ability to serve students via CareerSource, Vocational Rehabilitation, MyCAA and the FLNG Educational Dollars for Duty. ATA has become an Authorized Cyber AB Training Provider and will be training defense contractors nationwide to measurably achieve the DoD’s new cybersecurity standards. ATA is also OffSec’s dedicated Black Hat Training Provider.
