An Eagle Scout, he developed an early appreciation for leadership, discipline, and problem-solving traits that would later define his career in technology and cybersecurity. He has been married to his wife for 13 years, and together they have a 7 year old son.
Today, Mr. Jackson holds two key positions with OSCEdge. He serves as Enterprise Architect for the BME Contract at the U.S. Army Human Resources Command (HRC), where he leads major technical projects from concept to completion. In parallel, he is the Enterprise Architect and a Senior Developer for Optica Security, a cutting-edge compliance and cybersecurity management tool he co-founded. Originally developed by his company, Intelligent Cyber Automations (ICA), which he co-owned, Optica Security was acquired by OSCEdge. Mr. Jackson continues to spearhead its development with the mission of making a transformative impact in the DoD cyber domain.
In his OSCEdge role supporting HRC, Mr. Jackson drives datacenter modernization, designs and integrates Windows and Linux systems, and implements enterprise-scale cybersecurity initiatives. His leadership ensures strict adherence to DoD standards while improving operational efficiency. He has also played a pivotal role in automating RHEL deployments for OSCEdge’s CSfC implementation, streamlining and securing a critical capability for mission partners.
Mr. Jackson’s career in information technology spans more than 15 years, covering enterprise architecture, systems administration, and cybersecurity operations management. He also holds an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance. He has deep expertise in STIG/NIST compliance, ACAS scanning, IAVA management, and CORA/CCRI preparation, having led multiple successful CCRI/CORA audits, including the Army’s highest-rated Linux systems inspection in 2021.
Before joining OSCEdge, Mr. Jackson served as a Senior Systems Architect for Peraton, managing thousands of servers across physical, virtual, and cloud environments.
