A.B. Osborne is the Director of the Animation Program and an Associate Professor of Animation at Augusta University. As an educator, A.B. built and launched the Animation degree program at Augusta University in 2019. A.B. has won Augusta University's Individual Teaching Excellence Award in 2023, the Greater Augusta Arts Council Arts Educator Award in 2025, and the 2021 Boundless Teaching Award from Augusta University. As an artist, A.B. is a director and 3D Generalist who has made it a point to work and teach across a variety of media platforms. He's worked in games, animated shorts, educational animation, and even surgical simulators. He worked on a "Game of Thrones: Legends" project that won two Telly Awards as well as co-directed "the Flock of Forgotten Faces," which has featured in film festivals worldwide. A.B. earned his MFA from Savannah College of Art & Design in Animation and his BA in Broadcasting and Electronic Media from Eastern Kentucky University.
