1SG Anastashia J. Harris was born in Washington D.C. She joined the United States Army on July 07, 2008, and attended Basic Training at Fort Jackson, SC. Since Basic Training, 1SG Harris has completed the Cable Systems Installer course (25L), the Cyber Network Defender course(25D), and the Cyber Operations Specialist course earning the MOSs of 17C.1SG Harris has completed assignments and tours with the 304th Signal Battalion in Camp Stanley, Korea, the 550th Signal Company in Kandahar, Afghanistan, the 2ND Cavalry Regiment in Vilseck, Germany, the 108th Air Defense Artillery Brigade in Fort Liberty, NC, the1st Cavalry Division in Fort Cavazos, TX, the 3rd Security Forces Assistance Brigade in Fort Cavazos, TX. Bravo Company, 782D Military Intelligence Battalion, Fort Eisenhower, GA. She is currently the First Sergeant of Headquarters & Alpha Company, 442D Signal Battalion, Fort Gordon, GA. 1SG Harris has deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Inherent Resolve, and Operation Resolute Support.1SG Harris has been awarded the Army Commendation (with 6 OLC), Army Achievement Medal (with 2 OLC), Afghanistan Campaign Medal (2 stars), Korea Defense Service Medal, Overseas Service Medal, NATO Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, and Sergeant Audie Murphy Association induction and member. Additionally, 1SG Harris is working towards completing a Doctoral Degree in Information Assurance and Cybersecurity.1SG Harris is happily married to Mrs. Nicole Harris and together have three children (Ebony, Kayla, and Alexandra) and five grandchildren.
