Profile

Mike Bickle Has over 25 years of information systems and cyber security experience. He has as been an Instructor/Writer for the US Army Signal Leadership Development College, at Fort Eisenhower Georgia, where he taught DoD officers, soldiers and civilians to be information security professionals. After spending 20 years as a Chief Signal Warrant Officer in the US Army, Mike wanted to continue to contribute by sharing his experience and expertise in the information technology field. So, he also took positions as an adjunct professor for the University of Maryland Global Campus and Webster University, where he teaches undergraduate and master’s courses in information systems management, computer science and cybersecurity. Regardless of the course, Mike strives to get students to see the big picture and practically apply their knowledge. Mike enjoys researching how systems can be improved and then implementing those solutions. He has had many opportunities to do so across the globe, from Alaska to Georgia, Europe to Asia, the Middle East to Africa. Mike is a certified Computer Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and holds CompTIA Security+ and Network+ certifications as well. He has a BS in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus, an MS in Information Management from the University of Maryland and is perusing a Doctorate in Business Administration at the University of Maryland Global Campus.
