Profile

James (Jim) Bechtel currently serves as the Lead Systems Engineer (LSE) at Program Executive Office (PEO) Ground Combat Systems (GCS). He has over 25 years of experience in DoD acquisitions, systems engineering, and systems security engineering. Jim has been involved with hardening defense systems to include ground systems, electronics, operating systems, cross domain solutions, and complex intelligence systems. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from Texas State University, a Masters in Business & Administration (MBA) from Texas A&M University, and a Masters of Science in Computer Science & Engineering from Oakland University.
