Major Trey Norton was Commissioned in 2009 from Officer Candidate School in 2009 as a Field Artillery Officer. Served in 1st Brigade 1st Armored Division and deployed to Kandahar province Afghanistan as a member of TF Gunner. MAJ Norton became a functional area 29A Electronic Warfare Officer in 2014 and served as EWO and Planner for 214 Fires Brigade during Austere Challenge in 2015. Served as Brigade EWO, Battle CPT, and HHC Brigade Company Commander (Rear) for 2nd Brigade 4th Infantry Division. From 2015-2017 served as Aide de Camp to Commander of the Cyber Center of Excellence and SGS before attending CGSC.
Upon graduation from CGSC Major Norton supported 2CAB in Camp Humphreys South Korea as Brigade CEWO and Plans Officer. In 2021 MAJ Norton became a BDE EWO and 2nd Brigade 3rd Infantry Division planned and executed an NTC rotation before moving to become the 3rd Infantry Division CEMA Officer in 2023 supporting Austere Challenge 2024 and fielding the Active-Duty Army’s last EW Platoons.
