Lieutenant Colonel Elvin J. Fortuna, U.S. Army, is the Director of Army University's Technology Innovations Group (TIG). In this role, he leads efforts to integrate cutting-edge technology, including generative AI, into the Army's training and education development processes. LTC Fortuna previously served as the Chief of the Curriculum Development Branch in the Instructional Design Division of Army University, contributing to the modernization of the Army’s Captains Career Course towards a blended learning model.
LTC Fortuna is a doctoral student in Michigan State University’s Educational Psychology and Educational Technology program. He holds a BA in Philosophy from the University of Maryland, College Park, an MS in Management from the University of Maryland, University College, and an MA in Higher Education Administration from the University of Louisville. He is a demonstrated master logistician who has deployed in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.
