Description
An exploration of the evolving concept of Homeland Security with an emphasis on the necessity of a unified, multisector approach to safeguarding the nation’s critical infrastructure and public safety. As threats grow more complex, ranging from cyberattacks and deepfakes to natural disasters and supply chain disruptions, the traditional boundaries between military defense, civilian government, federal responsibilities, and private sector capabilities continue to blur. This briefing examines the core question: What is Homeland Security today and who is responsible for executing it. It will highlight how no single entity can shoulder the burden alone. Instead, effective Homeland Security demands, coordinated activities across all stakeholders to ensure the integrity and quality of our nation’s critical assets.
Attendees will learn how effective Homeland Security merges and highlights cybersecurity, deepfakes, natural disasters, and supply chain issues between all stakeholders to ensure the integrity and quality of our nation's critical assets.
