Nakeya Brown

Computer Security Engineer for Cyber Business Systems
Savannah River Nuclear Solutions

Profile

With an overall passion for empowering, supporting, educating, and acquiring new skills, my name is Nakeya Brown. I have received my Master of Science degree in Cyber Security from Liberty University in 2019 and my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Voorhees University in 2010. A quote that best illustrates my inclination originated from Barack Obama’s speech that stated,
"Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.”
With nearly ten years of managerial experience for a multinational painting and industrial coatings establishment in Augusta, Georgia, I am a Computer Security Engineer for Cyber Business Systems at Savannah River Nuclear Solutions. As an individual that has always valued education, diversity, inclusion efforts, and a strong love of traveling and exploring new cultures and places; I am proud to be amongst the members of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated and Brown Girls in Tech.
