Profile

Parker Woods is the PM Curriculum Lead for Equator Corporation in support of the NASA APPEL Knowledge Services Program. In this role, he oversees all Program and Project Management APPEL courses and the PM Career Development Framework. Prior to serving APPEL KS, Mr. Woods supported NASA’s Science Mission Directorate as a Cybersecurity Engineer, taking part in NASA’s SMD cybersecurity study for the Deep Space Network and Huntsville Operations Support Center Lessons Learned activity. Previously, he also contributed to a U.S. Army DEVCOM’s Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC) Cybersecurity Future Architecture report. Before that, he was in various roles, including as Task Lead and Design Engineer for a proprietary cybersecurity tool.

Mr. Woods has received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park and is expected to graduate with a M.S. in Systems Engineering from The George Washington University in 2024. He holds two patents, with one in industrial/medical application and the other in cybersecurity.
