Jason Hemingway is a Cyber Security Advisor at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency and is located in Augusta, GA. He has over 20 + years of experience in technology. He has a Master of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance, a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and holds the following professional certifications; CISSP, CEH, CHFI, COMPTIA Security + (SEC+), Network + (Net+).
He has assisted state, local, tribal and territorial governments with cybersecurity assessments to highlight potential issues with an organization’s security controls, tabletop exercises for incident response purposes. He has served as a liaison to coordinate Federal disaster recovery resources. He also supported organizations within the 16 sectors of critical infrastructure. He has led several projects that inform strategic government responses to global threats.
He researched, planned, and directed computer network operations; liaised with law enforcement agencies on computer network operations matters, identified operating system vulnerabilities and exploited them with common penetration testing tools.
He is a United State Marine Veteran.
