Her research focus has been in the area of video authentication. She delves into the complexities of artificial intelligence (AI) and deep learning, aiming to develop methodologies and technologies capable of accurately detecting deepfakes, which is critical for cybersecurity. This year, Lauren presented her research at the Association of Computer Science Departments at Minority Institutions (ADMI) Symposium, where she won 2nd place for undergraduate research papers.
