Profile

Joshua Gendron, is a dynamic and results-driven leader, bringing 20 years of distinguished military experience to his role as the Protection Directorate Sergeant Major. Currently stationed at Fort Sam Houston, TX, he leads a 51-person team responsible for protecting defense-critical assets and Title-10 Army forces. His strategic leadership and innovative approach have significantly enhanced the Army's capabilities, notably through the development of the first comprehensive All Hazards Threat Assessment and the creation of an interactive Protection Dashboard in collaboration with Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab.

Academically, Joshua graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Management Studies from Norwich University, where he is currently completing a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership. His professional certifications include Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Certified Agile Leadership, Certified Scrum Master, and an undergraduate certification in Leadership and Workforce Development from the Command and General Staff College (CGSC).
