Profile

Mike Morris is an Associate Dean and Senior Director over the Cybersecurity Programs residing in Dallas, Texas and Bradenton, Florida.

He began his career as a CPA with Price Waterhouse, then became a Special Agent, Supervisory Special Agent and Laboratory Director with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). After retiring from the FBI after 25 years of service, he went back to Price Waterhouse as a Manager in Incident Response and later a Director/CISO for Energy Future Holdings.

He joined WGU as a Course Instructor in the MSCSIA program in 2017 and was later promoted to Program Chair and then Associate Dean. In his current role, Mike leads all aspects of the three cybersecurity programs at WGU; ASCSIA, BSCSIA and MSCSIA. He is passionate about sharing WGU’s mission to create pathways to opportunity and expand access to higher education and building programs whose graduates can help America secure its critical infrastructures.
