Mr. Joshua Grant currently works as a Host Analyst for the Cyber Protection Brigade (CPB), U.S. Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER). As a native of Augusta, Georgia he has been employed with the DoD maintaining a TS/SCI clearance since the age of 17. He completed the National Security Agency Georgia (NSAG) High School Work Study program in 2018 while attending Hephzibah Comprehensive High School. This internship propelled his interests in cybersecurity and allowed him to seek further employment with the DoD.
Joshua decided to attend a Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD) partner school, Augusta University (AU) for his Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity. While being a full-time student, he continued to support NSAG as a part-time contractor as an Access Control Specialist. In 2022, Joshua graduated Magma Cum Laude along with a certificate of leadership for AU. He is a DoD Cybersecurity scholarship program (CySP) recipient and has been completing his service requirement with US Army Cyber Command.
Joshua previously completed two summer internships with Naval Information Warfare Center in Charleston, SC, working as a Navy Qualified Validator learning about the RMF process. While at ARCYBER, he is an Army Fellow and has supported G36 Cyber Risks and Assessment and CPB Cyber Readiness Inspection Activity working to defend and secure cyber risks to the DOD Information Network.
Joshua has been fascinated with technology since childhood. He hopes to share cyber opportunities and scholarships to the next generation while he continues his employment with ARCYBER. At the conclusion of his three-year Army Fellowship program, he will obtain a permanent position at ARCYBER. During his spare time, Joshua enjoys working with college students and young adults in his community, spending time with his Chosen 2.0 family, traveling, hanging out with family and friends, watching movies, listening to music, and enjoying the different parks around the CSRA.
