Captain Rengiil is a native of the village of Mangilao, on the island of Guam. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration and Policy with a Minor in Military Science from the University of Guam (2019) and her commission (Signal Corps) through ROTC. She graduated from Signal Officer Leader Course at Fort Gordon, GA in 2020. Following her SBOLC graduation, CPT Rengiil began service in South Korea. Captain Rengiil also served as the Company Executive Officer and Network Support Platoon Leader for the Signal Company within the 1st Multi-Domain Effects Battalion (1MDEB) of the 1st Multi-Domain Task Force (1MDTF) at Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), WA. Responsible for the combat readiness and accountability of all Signal Company equipment and personnel. Provided direct support to the research and development, force design, and multi-domain doctrine development for the 1MDEB Signal Company. Captain Rengiil currently serves as the Headquarters and Alpha Company Commander within the 442D Signal Battalion of the 15th Signal Brigade. CPT Rengiil leads a company comprised of Battalion Staff, Senior Leader Development College (SLDC), Training Support Division (TSD), Joint Planning Course (JC4PC), Signal Pre-Command Course (PCC), Signal Captain's Career Course (SCCC), and Reserve Component (SCCC-RC), with over 400 Students, Soldiers and civilians at any given time.
