FOR ATTENDANCE DOCUMENTATION: Be sure to add your email from your AFCEA membership to your event registration.

AFCEA’s Continuing Education (CE) program is designed to support certifications related to U.S. Federal Government requirements. Several TechNet Augusta 2023 sessions will be reviewed by CompTIA, GIAC and CertNexus to determine if the sessions meet continuing education requirements for certification maintenance. Sessions may also support (ISC)2, National Contract Management Association (NCMA), Project Management Institute (PMI), GAGAS, and Defense Acquisition Workforce continuing education and/or certification maintenance requirements.

Formal attendance documentation is a benefit of AFCEA membership and a service provided to attendees who purchased a continuing education (CE) pass for the event. Participation in an event session qualifying for CompTIA CEUs, GIAC CPEs and/or CertNexus CECs is required. On exiting the session, get your event badge scanned so that we can document your attendance.

In conjunction with TechNet Augusta CompTIA plans to offer “Beyond Magic: Next-level Infrastructure and Intelligent Incident Response,” as part of the CompTIA Learning Solutions Series, formerly known as “CompTIA mini bootcamp” on August 16 at 1:30 PM. The three hour session has been approved for 3 CompTIA CEUs for A+, Network+, Security+, Cloud+, CySA+, CASP+, PenTest+, Linux+, and Data+; 3 GIAC CPEs; and 3 CertNexus CECs for CyberSec First Responder (CFR). Attendees who register can get formal attendance documentation from CompTIA. Attendees will have the chance to win a $250 Amazon gift card when they attend the session in full.
