Profile

Bryan Sparling, Colonel, U.S. Army Retired, is a consultant currently serving as a Department of the Army, Highly Qualified Expert (HQE) as Army Cyber Command's Information Warfare Advisor.

Sparling served over 27 years on active duty as a Signal Officer and Information Operations Officer. As the Chief of Information Operations and Special Activities (J39) at U.S. European Command, 2011-15, he played a major role in establishing EUCOM’s Joint Cyber Center; and prior he directed all US and NATO IO, PSYOP, Public Affairs and Cyber programs in Afghanistan,2010-2011.

He is a graduate of the U.S. Army School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS), the National Defense University’s Joint Advanced Warfighting School (JAWS), and holds a Masters in Telecommunications from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

Bryan and his wife Suzie live in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
