Ken Witt spent over thirty years in uniform spanning a career in the New York Army National Guard, Army Reserves, Regular Army, the California Army National Guard and Title 10 Active Guard Reserves.
His assignments include Chief of Network Operations (GuardNet) for the Army National Guard G6, the G6 for the Multi-National Brigade South in Kosovo, Budget Officer for the Army CIO / G6, Network and Security Infrastructure Branch Chief at Army NETCOM G5.
As a commissioned officer Ken was a Signal Officer (25A) and Network Systems Engineer (26A)
Ken also was the Director of Operations for Pacific Crossing a Trans-Pacific subsea fiber optic system owned by NTT. He has worked on a number of Subsea Telecommunications systems for Global Crossing (Lumen) and Alcatel / Lucent, now Nokia.
He retired from Active Duty in August 2019 and continues to support the Department of Defense, the Army, and greater “Signal” Community with his work at GDIT.
