Profile

Andrew Beardall, Esq is the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of the Government Technology Insurance Company RRG (GovTech).

Earning his Juris Doctor as a cum laude graduate of The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, his educational journey began on a slightly different path. He attended the University of Maryland College Park where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then went on to obtain a Master of Science in Neuroscience from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.

After running his own law practice, Andrew became involved in the Captive Insurance world and worked with business colleagues to develop GovTech.

He is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the GovTech program including underwriting oversight, regulatory compliance, reporting, reinsurance, financial operations, and policy updates.

He has spoken at numerous educational seminars and conferences on insurance regulation, government actions such as the ACA or CARES act, commercial insurance, the specific needs of the GovCon community, and Cyber Risk.
