Continuing Education

Reviewing Organizations

AFCEA’s Continuing Education (CE) program is designed to support certifications related to U.S. Federal Government requirements. Several TechNet Augusta sessions will be reviewed by CompTIA and GIAC to determine if the sessions meet continuing education requirements for certification maintenance. Sessions may also support (ISC)2, National Contract Management Association (NCMA), Project Management Institute (PMI), GAGAS, and Defense Acquisition Workforce continuing education and/or certification maintenance requirements.

For in-person sessions, formal attendance documentation is a benefit of AFCEA membership and a service provided to attendees who purchased a continuing education (CE) pass for the event. Participation in an event session qualifying for CompTIA CEUs and/or GIAC CPEs, is required. On exiting the session, get your event badge scanned so that we can document your attendance.

For on-demand sessions, You may prepare your attendance documentation using your name and registration receipt, the link to the session information, the event name, session name, session description and additional detail such as session length and speaker info. Please check with applicable certifying organizations for their specific requirements. This guidance applies to live streamed and on-demand sessions. https://www.afcea.org/site/?q=CE-FAQ.
