MAJ Lior Lebed was born in Israel. He enlisted into the IDF in 2005. Currently, he is the head of the section for Concepts and Operational Design in the Intelligence Cyber Defense Directorate (ICDD, 2016-present).
In the past, MAJ Lebed has been a Research Fellow in the Dado Center for Interdisciplinary Military Studies in the Operations Directorate of the Israel Defense Forces General Staff (2011-2016) and a History Researcher in the IDF, History Department (2008-2011).
Major Lebed holds a Master’s degree in Security Studies and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Middle East History, both from Tel Aviv University.
Major Lebed is fluent in both English and Hebrew.
