Colonel Curtis W. Nowak is the Unified Network Team Lead for the Network Cross Functional Team. He leads tactical network modernization efforts focused on providing assured network transport in any operationally contested environment. His team identifies capability solutions related to the Integrated Tactical Network (ITN), tactical radios, and air-to ground communication integration. They also look at doctrine, forces structure and training requirements for the Signal Corp and Expeditionary Signal Brigades to support operational missions. A career Signal Officer, Nowak bring extensive experience working directly with Signal units and other formations during exercises and Soldier Touchpoints at the National Training Center, as well as during his time serving as Operations Officer at 7th Signal Brigade and Deputy Chief of Exercises at 5th Signal Command.
