Gregory brings over 10 years of experience in national security, public policy, and healthcare. He served in the Obama administration in various leadership roles pertaining to biosecurity, pandemic response, drug development, and defense acquisition. He began his career as the Special Assistant to the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Nuclear Chemical and Biological Defense Programs where he helped shape national security policy for biosecurity to include pandemic response and drug development. He last served in the administration as the Director of Strategy and Plans for the Program Executive Office, Defense Healthcare Management System (PEO DHMS) where he led the strategy to acquire the current Genesis Electronic Health Record. In the private sector, he has
developed strategy for federal and private sector clients around a variety of healthcare topics to include supply chain and quality of care. He currently leads Huron disease surveillance and pandemic planning offering.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Through leading Huron’s disease surveillance and pandemic planning offering, Gregory has worked with the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and the National Security staff to help shape the framework of biosurveillance post-COVID-19. Through this effort he has also advised many congressional staff members to include professional staff of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pension (HELP) on legislation to strengthen the United States Pandemic Response and Prevention framework. He has advised a large private sector medical device company on how to navigate and approach the Center for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS) in regards to rule development and requirements for quality outcomes.
