Brian Markus is the founder and CEO of Aries Security, the manufacturer of the premiere cyber training range and skill assessment suite as well as an industry leading content developer. He holds a B.S. in Computer Information Systems as well as an MBA. Brian also holds the following certifications: CISSP, PGP, Six Sigma, NSA InfoSec Assurance Methodology, and ITIL. Brian is well known in the cybersecurity sector as the creator of Capture The Packet, a DEF CON black badge contest, and the Packet Hacking Village, which provides education and training to the community every year at no cost. Prior to Aries Security, Brian was the CISO of Aerojet Rocketdyne. He has also held technical and leadership roles at Raytheon and sits on several advisory boards. Brian has served as a member of the President's National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee and the NIST NICE working group.
