THANK YOU for attending the Defensive Cyber Operations Symposium in Washington D.C. this year. Please Click Here to view information on the 2017 Symposium.

"Do you work in the cyber area? Then I have some questions for you. How do we do 100% assured identity and build networks that can respond to and overcome our adversaries' attacks? How do we design the next level of encryption for security? How do we design for the next version of the Internet? These are just a few of the questions that I hope you will help us answer as part of our discussions at the 2016 Defensive Cyber Operations Symposium." - LTG Alan R. Lynn

Engagement Theaters

The AFCEA Defensive Cyber Operations Symposium will feature five separate engagement theater spaces on the exhibit hall floor. Concurrent  theater sessions will take place on Thursday and Friday, April 21-22, 2016. The theaters are smaller venues seating just 100-200 participants in order to allow greater interaction and the presentation of technical and niche topics that may not be the right fit for the plenary stage. Some sessions may qualify for continuing education credit. A preliminary list of topics follows. More information will be posted as session speakers are confirmed.
