John “Jack” Dillon is the Cyber Planning Lead in the Army Rapid Capabilities Office, where he is responsible for the rapid transition of innovative and disruptive cyber technology solutions to satisfy critical Army warfighter requirements. His new role comes on the heels of serving as the Army Acquisition Lead for Cross Program System of Systems Engineering, as part of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics and Technology) Cyber Focal office. Previously, Mr. Dillon served as Director of Advanced Concepts and Technology at the Army Cyber Command, where he oversaw all aspects of cyber capability development and managed the Army's Computer Emergency Response Teams as overall lead for Defensive Cyber Operations. As a former Army Officer, Mr. Dillon's active duty operational assignments included tactical communications support to Operation Iraqi Freedom. Prior active duty assignments included the National Security Agency and the Joint Task Force - Global Network Operations.
