  Press Releases

  • Linthicum Heights, Md. – Nearly 300 Department of Defense (DoD) and Defense Industrial Base (DIB) cybersecurity professionals participated in the DoD Cyber Crime Center’s (DC3) Winter 2024 Technical Exchange (TechEx), held at Lockheed Martin’s facility in Arlington, Virginia, on December 3-4, 2024.

This year’s theme, "Charting the Course," underscored the significance of deliberate navigation through a continuously evolving cyber threat landscape. During the two-day event, expert briefers across DoD, government, and industry exchanged invaluable insights on the latest cyber threats, important tool development updates, cybersecurity best practices, and new no-cost pilots and programs available to DIB Partners.

Since 2008, DC3’s DoD-DIB Collaborative Information Sharing Environment (DCISE) has served as the DoD’s focal point for all cyber incident reports affecting DIB unclassified information systems and networks. DC3 DCISE provides cyber threat information and cybersecurity services to the DIB to safeguard DoD information. Twice a year, TechEx brings together subject matter experts from government and across industry to promote collaboration and enhance protection of DoD information residing and transiting across contractor unclassified systems and networks, all at no cost to DIB CS Program partners. DC3’s vision is to enable insight and action in cyberspace and beyond, which it achieves by fostering a customer-focused culture. To apply to become a member of this free DoD program contact OSD.DIBCSIA@mail.mil or check out https://dibnet.dod.mil/ to learn more.

DC3 DCISE will present its next iteration of TechEx in June 2025.
