Profile

Mr. J.C. Wilson is the chief engineer for the Endpoint Security division in the Program Executive Office Cyber at the Defense Information Systems Agency. In this capacity he is responsible for leading and executing strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the organization's endpoint security posture. This entails directing a team of skilled engineers to design, develop, implement, and maintain cutting-edge endpoint security products and solutions.

Prior to this position, Wilson served as the program manager for several Department of Defense enterprise solutions including the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution, Comply-to-Connect, the Digital Policy Management System, the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service, and the Vulnerability Management System.

In 2013, he led the eMASS team that received a DOD Chief Information Officer Award for outstanding achievement in information management, supporting the DOD CIO and having a significant impact throughout the DOD. His government career began in 2002 as a programmer for the National Security Agency and continued in 2006 as help desk support for the Internal Revenue Service. Wilson began his career at DISA in 2007.

He has a bachelor’s in software engineering and a master’s in computer science with concentration in computer security from the College of Engineering at Mississippi State University.
