Victoria Ontiveros supports CISA’s efforts to promote software bill of materials (SBOM) adoption and
implementation and advance open source software (OSS) security. She coordinates with subject matter experts across CISA to develop guidance on SBOM and OSS security and engages with international and industry stakeholders, as well as OSS communities, to address software transparency challenges.
Prior to joining CISA in 2023, Victoria was a fellow at the Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). She has a bachelor’s degree in international studies, economics, and east Asian studies from Johns Hopkins University and a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
