Dr. Damian Watkins, Chief Research Officer (CRO) of Aperio Global, is a recognized expert in network protocol processing and analytic development for DoD agencies. He defended his thesis “Attack Detection in Tactical MANETS using Stationary Intelligent Agent Decision Makers (SIFA)” for his doctoral requirements from Morgan State University. His software development background includes over 20 years’ experience in Java and C++ data-driven analytics development. He also provides consulting for the development of requirements for analytics and includes analysis of network protocols. He has written custom algorithms on live data to analyze network protocol behavior. He has also written Hadoop Map-Reduce-based analytics in JAVA to support customer questions. Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) and Cyber Metadata generation and processing.
Currently, Dr. Watkins is developing Artificial intelligence applications on SIGINT data using TensorFlow for Intelligence/DOD customers. He possesses a Cyber Security Analysis (CySA+) Certification and hands-on experience with Malware analysis, SIGINT, and Cyber Metadata generation and processing. He is developing Artificial Intelligence applications on SIGINT data using TensorFlow for Intelligence/DOD customers. Awarded patent Patent No. 11037073, “Data Analysis System Using Artificial Intelligence. Dr. Watkins was also a finalist for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Science Mission Directorate Entrepreneurs Challenge in Quantum Sensing for Dark Energy.
