Profile

Gregg Fenley is a Senior Software Engineer in the Systems Engineering and Architecture Office, supporting the Director of Software Engineering and Prototypes. He contributes to Department of Defense-wide modernization initiatives for software engineering practices, tools, policy, and workforce development. With extensive experience in software development, computer and communications hardware, training, military vehicles, unmanned vehicles, and network engineering, he consistently focuses on meeting customer needs. His prior experience includes developing and delivering numerous software systems for the US Army, Army National Guard and Reserve, Special Forces, Navy, and commercial clients. As the Navy's Software and Live Fire Flight Test Manager for the Evolved SEASPARROW Missile (ESSM), he oversaw all software development and testing, supporting 12 NATO countries and 23 international industry contractors. Leading a team of over 40 engineers, he delivered software enhancements, fixes, and performance improvements. Furthermore, he managed ESSM live fire flight testing, coordinating with key stakeholders across the Test and Evaluation community, including the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems Enterprise Test & Evaluation Working Groups, Commander, Operational Test & Evaluation Forces, and the Department of Defense's Developmental and Operational Test offices. Mr. Fenley holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics from James Madison University.
