SFC Jacline Gonzalez assumed the role of J7, Training, Exercises and Readiness Senior Enlisted Leader, Joint Force Headquarters- Department of Defense Information Network (JFHQ-DODIN), on April 1, 2024. In this position, she assists the J7 Director with developing a cyber workforce prepared to lead and execute defensive cyber training, joint exercises, and DODIN readiness.
SFC Gonzalez was born in Austin, Texas on June 8, 1991. She joined the Army January 24th, 2012, and attended Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. SFC Gonzalez then went on to Advanced Individual Training at Fort Eisenhower, Georgia, where she was awarded the Military Occupational Specialty of 25B, Information Technology Specialist.
SFC Gonzalez’s first duty assignment was with 36th Signal Battalion, 1st Signal Brigade at Camp Walker, Daegu, South Korea, where she served as the Public Affairs Officer and Battalion Command Group Driver. She was then stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas with 86th Expeditionary Signal Battalion, 11th Signal Brigade, where she first served as a Command Post Node operator and later as the Battalion Command Group Driver. SFC Gonzalez then transferred to Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, with the 30th Signal Battalion, 516th Signal Brigade where she served as the Battalion S6 NCOIC. She then went on to serve as a facilitator for the Army Basic Leader Course at the Non-commissioned Officer Academy (NCOA) Hawaii, 25th Infantry Division. Prior to arriving at JFHQ-DODIN, SFC Gonzalez was stationed in Brunssum, Netherlands with Allied Joint Forces Command Brunnsum (JFCBS), U.S. Army NATO Brigade, where she served as the Communications NCO for the JFCB Deputy Chief of Staff of Operations.
SFC Gonzalez is a graduate of the Senior Leader Course and achieved Commandant’s List recognition. Her other military education includes Advance Leader Course, Basic Leader Course, Common Faculty Development- Instructor Course, Master Resiliency Trainer, Master Fitness Trainer, Bus Driver Course, Air Assault, Combat Lifesaver, Combatives Level 1, and Field Sanitation.
SFC Gonzalez obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from University of Maryland Global Campus in 2021. Her technical certifications include CompTIA Security+. She is currently attending a graduate program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.
SFC Gonzalez’s awards and decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal (2nd award), Army Achievement Medal (8th award), Army Good Conduct Medal (4th award), National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Noncommission Officer Professional Development Ribbon (numeral 3), Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (Numeral 3), Joint Meritorious Unit Award, and the Army Superior Unit Award.
