Mr. Rodolfo (Raven) Fuentes is the technical director for the Defense Information Systems Agency’s Europe Field Command, Stuttgart, Germany. In this position, he provides technical leadership and strategic direction to the European and African theaters by leading teams in the planning, developing, and delivery of technology transition & requirements to provide effective joint, interoperable, command and control capabilities and enterprise management in direct support of chiefs of staff, combatant commanders, Department of Defense components, and other mission partners globally.
Prior to joining DISA Europe, Fuentes was the future operations division chief at DISA headquarters, where he headed the agency-wide crisis management strategic planning effort in support of the U.S. European Command operations against real world adversary military buildup, invasion, and conflict against European allies. He leveraged partnerships to provide solutions to support key critical terrain in the initial operations of the Russo-Ukrainian war to support multiple combatant commands and coalition partners.
He has over 30 years of IT experience and 10 years as a DISA civilian where he has supported and led in a variety of roles at multiple regional field commands and agencies, providing direction and technical support to combatant commands and mission partners. Prior to transitioning to DISA civilian workforce, he served 25 years in the U.S. Army.
Fuentes has a bachelor’s in business administration and a master’s in information technology management and holds numerous professional certifications.
He is a recipient of the U.S. Army Signal Center and Fort Gordon Albert J. Meyer Leadership Award, Signal Corps Regimental Association Bronze Order of Mercury, and Bronze Medallion of the Order of Saint George.
