MAJ John Pavlik is a computer scientist and technical advisor for PEO Cyber at the Defense Information Systems Agency.
He’s served in the U.S. Army for more than 15 years, first as a signal corps officer and now as a network systems engineer.
Pavlik earned his doctorate in computer science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He spent three years as an assistant professor and research scientist studying cyber applications of generative AI for the Army Cyber Institute.
Pavlik also worked as a software developer before joining the Army in 2009 and still takes every opportunity to write code to solve difficult and challenging problems with both data and systems.
