Chris Hollifield is a distinguished leader with a quarter-century of experience in intelligence and cyber operations, cultivated through extensive service in the U.S. Army. He is recognized for his expertise in intelligence support for airborne infantry units, counterterrorism operations, and complex cyber missions, with critical deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq.
In his final military role, Chris served as the senior intelligence officer for the Joint Force Headquarters – Department of Defense Information Networks (JFHQ-DODIN). In this capacity, he directed cyber defense intelligence for 44 Combatant Commands, Services, Agencies, and Field Activities, safeguarding the resilience and security of vital defense networks.
After leaving active duty, Chris transitioned to advising both public and private organizations on cyber and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. He was selected as Special Advisor to the Director of the National Security Agency and the Commander of U.S. Cyber Command, where he provided strategic guidance on cyber operations, AI integration, capability development, and national security partnerships.
As the current CEO of the Technology Advancement Center (TAC), a non-profit dedicated to securing the nation's critical infrastructure , Chris is instrumental in bridging the gap between government, academia, and industry. Under his leadership, TAC has launched multiple initiatives to foster collaboration, address emerging cyber threats, and accelerate innovation. These projects include cutting-edge prototyping and technology scouting to rapidly test, evaluate, and transition new technologies into operational environments, ensuring that government agencies maintain a technological advantage over adversaries.
