Profile

Mr. Allan Dianic is the Director of Software Engineering and Prototypes in the Systems Engineering and Architecture Office. In this capacity, he supports DoD wide efforts to modernize software engineering practices, tools, workforce and policy. He manages a team of six contractors working in two teams including software modernization and software prototyping/data analytics. Mr. Dianic led the establishment of the DoD Wide Software Science and Technology Strategy and I-Plan as well as teaming with OUSD A&S to establish the Digital Talent Management Forum. He is active in the DoD Software Modernization community as the RandE Tri-Chair on the Action Officers Working Group. He is active in other projects including NC3 modernization. Mr. Dianic has been with R&E for over five years, having previously been a contractor supporting Software Prototyping and Model Based Systems Engineering in the Intelligence Community. Prior to that Mr. Dianic developed and delivered several operational software systems to the DoD (United States Air Force) and NASA. He is a Graduate of the Florida Institute of Technology with an M.S. in Computer Science and a received a Graduate Certificate in Data Analytics from the George Mason University. Mr. Dianic served on active duty in the United States Air Force for 8 years.
