Profile
Dr. Matthew McFadden is Vice President, Cyber and Division CISO for General Dynamics Information Technology, where he leads enterprise cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and advanced cyber capabilities across federal and national security missions. In his role, he leads GDIT’s Tidal Quantum and Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) Digital Accelerator efforts, advancing quantum-resilient encryption, crypto-agility, and key management modernization, while driving innovation in quantum computing, quantum sensing, and next-generation cybersecurity. Dr. McFadden holds doctorates in computer science and organizational leadership and is a published author, conference speaker, and cybersecurity educator. He has been recognized with the 2025 MeriTalk Cyber Defenders Award, named to The Consulting Report’s Top 50 Cybersecurity Consultants and Leaders of 2024, and is a recipient of the 2022 CyberScoop 50 Award.
