Description
The modern battlespace depends on secure, resilient, and high-speed communications, but adversaries exploit cryptographic blind spots to disrupt operations. Data in-flight and at-rest are prime targets, with nation-state actors using “steal now, decrypt later” tactics to stockpile sensitive DoD data for future exploitation. Without cryptographic agility, mission-critical systems risk compromise.
This session exposes vulnerabilities in cryptographic infrastructure that turn rapid innovation into a liability—technical debt, outdated encryption, and supply chain weaknesses create attack surfaces that adversaries weaponize. Attendees will explore how AI-driven threat detection, quantum-safe methodologies, and cryptographic inventorying counter crypto-jacking techniques and secure operational data.
We will outline a Cryptographic Readiness Roadmap designed for DoD operations, integrating Zero Trust principles, hardened supply chain oversight, and cryptographic agility to secure command, control, and communications (C3) systems. Real-world case studies will highlight how AI-powered anomaly detection, quantum-resilient encryption, and cryptographic asset visibility fortify warfighter advantage.
As the DoD advances cloud adoption, and modernization initiatives to support the warfighter, cryptographic readiness is mission-critical. This session delivers actionable strategies to harden cyber architectures, enhance operational resilience, and stay ahead of adversaries in the evolving threat landscape.
