  Washington, D.C., March 2024 — The U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has released the updated NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0 (NIST CSF 2.0), expanding its guidelines to all industries to address the heightened cyber threat landscape. Originally developed in 2014 to aid critical infrastructure providers, the new framework emphasizes the ubiquity of cyber threats and the importance of robust cybersecurity measures across all sectors.

  Overview of NIST CSF 2.0
